Celebration of Craft 2024

Join the Appalachian Center for Craft for the 26th annual Celebration of Craft. This event will have live music, craft demonstrations, food vendors, a silent auction, kid’s activities, and a 25% discount in their retail gallery.

Banana Pudding Festival

Free admission and free parking during the annual banana pudding festival in downtown Monterey! You can expect delicious food, a petting zoo and a kid’s zone, vintage trinkets, and the Monterey Farmer’s Market.

KID’S CORNER

Lego Club
Date & Time: Monday April 1st @ 3:30-4:30 pm

The sky is the limit during Lego Club! Build imaginative structures, vehicles, characters, and more using Legos. Limited to 25 participants, ages 5-12, Legos provided.

RoboGenius: Building Your Future at the Library
Date & Time: Tuesday April 2nd @ 3:30-4:30 pm
Price: Free
Location: Cookeville Library, 50 E Broad St, Cookeville, TN 38501

3rd graders and up (or ages 8 and up) will get hands-on experience with science and technology. This month’s session, featuring the Botley 2.0 Coding Robot, is hosted by the TTU Millard Oakley STEM Center, the College of Engineering, and the Putnam County Library. Limited to 30 participants. Stop by the children’s desk to pick up a number no more than 30 minutes before the program starts.

Kimberly Jones has been a hairstylist for 20 years, and after 15 years of dealing with an autoimmune disease, she decided to combine her passion for hair and health. She opened Adorn Holistic Beauty Lounge, Cookeville’s first holistic hair salon. At Adorn, they care what you put on your body, so they offer products with clean and organic ingredients so you don’t have to compromise your health to have great hair.
