Cookeville Art Walk

Stroll through downtown Cookeville and admire murals and sculptures from local artists. Pick up a map at Cookeville Art Studio, Cookeville Visitor’s Bureau, or Market on the Square. Join to win prizes from local businesses, there are prizes for kids as well!
Cookeville Community Band Memorial Day Concert

Join Burgess Falls State Park for a strenuous 4-mile roundtrip paddle to the base of Burgess Falls enjoying local wildlife and scenic views along the way. Kayaks provided, limited to 10 people at least 12 years of age.

On the Farm Challenge Quest

Plenty Downtown Bookshop is a non-profit dedicated to building and celebrating book culture in the Upper Cumberland. One of their goals is to help every child read and every parent and grandparent be able to read with them. When you shop at Plenty, every dollar goes towards supporting the continuation of Plenty Downtown Bookshop and its programs. It’s the perfect place to relax and browse and they feature a wide variety of books along with a stationary collection, and delicious tea! Plenty also has a children’s section full of books, puzzles, games, puppets, and other toys. They host numerous events throughout the month including author signings, writer’s workshops, poetry nights, book clubs, and more.
